Just finally got to look at all my mom's wedding photos, how is it that we can take a bunch of pictures of the same thing, and they all come out different? It just amazes me.
On another note. Does anyone have tips or suggestions on how to compare cars during the buying process? I'm just thinking and planning, not buying anything immediately. I'm trying to decide on a car that will potentially last me awhile, even into when I have kids. I'm looking for something with good highway gas mileage, air and cruise. Those are my top priorities, next on the list would be sound and cruise controls on the wheel and good speakers. Now, obviously I need all the normal safety stuff, at this point I'm thinking all the cars being made now are pretty well equipped with that kind of stuff. A couple vehicles I've looked at a bit are the 2011 Chevy Equinox, the 2012 Hyundai Elantra and Accent, also the Toyota Prius. If I think far enough ahead, like when I may have kids, a bit larger would be nice so there's enough room for family and luggage. Being able to fit hardware type stuff for the occasional project would be nice too.
This site is primarily a place for me to start learning how to learn again. I may post anything from a simple question/thought to a "paper" on a book I've finished reading or something I've been "researching." Please leave comments on writing style, ideas for possible improvement and tips for learning and studying. I look forward to learning and hearing from you all.

Hey! Sounds like we both started blogs for similar reasons :)

I found this website to be helpful when searching for cars. The site gives several reviews from consumers to mechanics. The site also has crash test ratings. Hope it's helpful!
